October

October is always the worst - but still somehow the best - period during the year.
Let me explain.

October is the busiest, we are closing the old fiscal year, and starting the new one. This means, we have to prepare for the sales letters to be released before end of November.
This year, however, we had an even more agressive readiness plan, countries have 3 weeks to release the letters to the sales force.

On the other hand though, this rush, the stress, the ongoing movements, the long office hours (with ordering pizza in), the continous phonecalls, meetings, trackings, that's what it all makes it so great.
Ok, I am not saying that it is not awful, but i like it... i like it more comparing to the days when there is nothing good to do.

So, work.
October is all about work.
I had my 4th contract started Noember. It was uncertain what i am going to do after December.

I went to interiews, I got job offers, in poland, in Wien, in Ireland... not just from HP, but from companies outside...
There was also one quite good and serious in Geneva too...

Everybody was suggesting me, i should just go for it, and leave HP behind...
Howev,er somehow, i just can not do that.
It is a love&hate relationship.
Sometimes I could just stand up and run away, leave my boss behind, and leave the whole thing in a deep shit... but who deosn't feel it from time to time at work?

It is however strange, I admit, that they first can not offer me any position. Than - out of nowhere - exceptionally, I could get a contract for 2 months! 2 months!!! I am that idiot that i take it, so yes, i deserve what i get.
Than, they offered me a position in Poland!!???!!
In Poland?? I mean, why not than back in Hungary???
What's the difference?? Seriously... They thought I would take everything...

Than, exactly on the same day when i had my extrnal interview, and it was obvious that they want me and i also liked them a lot, on exactly that day, my boss was telling me, that ever since he otld me there is no way i can stay with this team, he was devasteted, and he was so sad, so he was fighting for me, for me to stay... so i should be happy and grateful, that he was fighting for me a lot... as a headcount..

ààààà

so, those political games.. i dont like...
you are either good at what you do or not.
the rest is politics.. which.. unfortunatly.. part of the game.
So yes.. don't hate the players, hate the game...
but...
it is a vicious circle, the players determine the game...
aawhh

anyways, if recent hirings happens.. than life will be very very strange at work..
And i keep on asking myself what did i do.. why did i deserve that?
If that is charma.. than i really should apologize for all my mistakes...

But... bottomline is: I accepted the 2 year contract, I am happy. but also I think this is the minimun, and i think of it as an other chance, an opportunity to finish and accomplish my goals, why i came to switzerland at the first place. (hm. afterall, sth sticked out of those aiesec years... ;))

Also, October was special, as my childhood friend (our friendship just turned 18.. ;)) and her boyfriend visited me :)
It was so good to see them.

And you know, when you are spending lots of times with married people, you keep on thinking marriage is missing from your life, than when you are spending lots of times with single ones, you keep on thinking, partying is cool...anyways, so it was just great to see them together, couple. spenidng some really good time together... having fun, long discussions.. so yes, it was fun :)
Missed you Reka!!!! Can't wait for that hot wine... ;)

Guess what... : Gruyeres... love that place ;)
I have been there like 6 times.. or more :)

Màshol nem lelsz hàzat, hazàt...

It seems October is my date... it has been always a turning point for me.. don't get it...
anyways...

I am on youtube... and Eszter showed me this song from Szandi - yes... that teenage girl from the 80'2-90's. Now she grew up, and tis song is just soo moving...

"There are stilll bigger miracles then dreams waitnig for you..."

"You could live anywhere, there is still magic,
but you could feel, it's only a beautiful delusion..."

Várnak rád többen, mint kívánhatnád;
máshol nem lelsz házat, hazát.

Refr.:
Élhetnél bárhol, van még varázs,
de éreznéd százszor: csak szép csalás.
Távolról visszatérnél, visszaálmodnál,
látnád, hogy több az otthon minden mámornál,
minden múlt bent él, bent fáj.
Hozzád bújt sok tél, sok nyár…

Képzeld, hogy szállhatsz,
az ég ma téged választ.
Ha társad nincs, mennyit ér?
Képzeld, hogy szállhatsz,
fent megkapsz minden választ;
ahol indultál, ott a cél.

Várnak rád álmoknál nagyobb csodák,
lesz út a kincsedhez, ha szíved jól lát.
Várnak rád jobban, mint kívánhatnád;
máshol nem lelsz házat, hazát…

Refr.:
Élhetnél bárhol, van még varázs,
de éreznéd százszor: csak szép csalás.
Távolról visszatérnél, visszaálmodnál,
látnád, hogy több az otthon minden mámornál,
minden múlt bent él, bent fáj.
Hozzád bújt sok tél, sok nyár…

Hungary, I love you as you are!

I have already heard a lot about this beer commercial, but haven't seen it yet...

Until one of my friend posted it...

This is amazing!

So true, and this video gave me the creeps all over my body, my tears are falling....

I don't care at all that the original idea was coming from Canada...

And on youtube you can also find more and more parody about Hungary. Of course, I agree we should also see Hungary through a distorting mirror, and I am always the one who cam ake fun of herself in a sarcastic, grotesc way... Sure.. but just people needs to understand also those, who are living outside of the country. They are missing it a lot, and it makes them proud, and homesick, and goosy, and yes, PROUD!

I watched it like thousands time already... and still can not get full with it!

Friends visit meee!!! :)) (100th posts...)

Not that end of October, beginning of November wouldn't be busy enough... ;) (year-end closing, new year start up, quota setting, quota deployment, closing preparation for december payment...)
BUT, also 5 of my best friends visited me!!!

Sysy, Kristóf, én, Móni, Isti, SüTi

I am sooo happy they were here, however, I was not the best host actually...
I had to work several times...
But, I managed to take them to my favorite restaurant ... despite my very good advertisement skills (i.e. kind-of illegal restaurant, 2 kind of food: with or without meat! ;)

After the 70's party at CERN:

we managed to go to Gruyeres!!

I missed them soo much!!!
And still..
I think I have homesick... :(
They wanted to bring me home...
And you know how it is, the more you hear sth, you start believing yourself too...
Soo... who knows? :)

Big boss in Geneva

Well, October is the busiest month for me.. I would say...

We have the year-end closing, H2 closing, the new fiscal year quota setting, quota load, deployment guidelines, training to the countries, etc. Really interesting, but tough period. However, I don't want to complain, because this is how I like working.
Under stress.
I know that as I am so lazy, I don't do anything till it is not burning..
Than I am working on 200%...
Ok, some may say the key is time management.
I agree... I do...
But it doesn't work for me.
I tried several methods, DO-IT lists, prioritizing, rating methods, still... my best performance is under pressure! :)

That's why I was happy - ok a little bit threatened too - when my new boss arrived to Geneva for a 2-days training.

IT WAS AMAZING!!!

You know, when there is a really good manager in the team, a teamleader... he might not understand anything at all what u are doing... but he has always key questions:
- Who is accountable for that? (RACI questions...)
- What is the aim of this...?
- What is the process/the flow?
- Who and how will control it?

You can always apply those questions.
And it was so great to see our team working together, really working together, in one conference room for 2 days, having real face-to-face meetings.
I totally understand the aim of HALO room (a great product of HP), I get it that we have travel freeze, but still... u can not compare the efficiency of a f2f meeting with a netmeeting or a virtual classroom training... :) Not to mention the evening team dinner ;)
Matching the voice to the face..getting to know some gossips about your team leader ;)

back to serious again:
At the end basically we are all analysts.
At yes, we do things by heart...
And we forgot to stop and THINK OUT OF THE BOX!

And yes, here we are again... aiesec...
;)

And basically Sales Compensation EMEA is the same as aiesec.
(We are going to have a great inner meeting in Germany... and for that we have to prepare our communication and marketing strategy... to reach out for the sales force... very very familiar tasks to what we did in aiesec... ;))

Anyways, so coming back to the big boss...
Amazing, how he can turn things up side down... just with asking those basic questions...
Than with that motivation speech he delivered at the end of the 2 days training...
Well yes, that's why he is the manager, and we are the analysts.

And.. also really amazing, that 3 days passed, and the motivation is back again to normal, our way of thinking is back again to normal. Why???
I want him back! :)

Ok, I think it will help when we get our own direct manager... and we won't be anymore a headless team... :)))

And also about the economic crisis that we are all facing now...
Well, in Switzerland you can also feel it... ;)
Ok, not at all in the same level as in Hungary for example, but definitely impacts our work as well. Who wants to buy a new printer now?? When the growth of countries are slowing down? China for example as well...
Or in the Middle East and Africa... the fastest growing region was dropped by 20%...
shocking...

Or when the political situation is not that stable in a country... how can you set a terget for your sales force knowing all those facts?
How can u implement new compensation schemes?

Don't even mention the exchange rates... $ against €...
Hmm... nice... work is great! ;)

Going out in Geneva 2

Hmm... long time I haven't written anything...
well.. it was because every weekend basically was the same
What's more, not just the weekends but party from Thursday till Saturday... 3 days in a row... with a Friday working day in the middle...
hmm...

Where to go on a Thursday night?

- Well, first choice would be: Mulligans
Nice, charming, irish pub, with an old friend behind the bar...

Live music, good music... roll and rock :) Beatles as well as other older hits...

It was soo funny, somehow I always wanted to go there... I know Anthony's favorite place was this pub, but somehow the timing was never good for me...
So, the first time when I went there, I bumped into one of my old schoolmate from the french course.
Thanks to my great face memory, (not that it was so difficult to remember an old guy, around 45, gray hairs, deep, deep cigarette and alcohol voice...yes, my type indeed...) I immediately recognized him...
So, I was like: "Helloooo.... what a surprise!!"
Yes, he didn't have a clue.. who am I...
So, i continued... "You don't remember me, do you? French class.. Migros.. 2 months ago??"

And than he realized... i am that Hungarian who was always talking about the famous paprika pálinka, that he almost has to taste on the very last class... :)

So we started talking, and it turned out that he works there... hahaha
Cool! :)
hmm in the meantime i got to know that he went back to Holland, sth happened to the girl he lived with... anyways, i got to know the other guy behind the bar..we played paintball together :)

- Other option would be: Lady G - Lady Godiva, the English pub...

And now, as the beer of the months is Becks... and the price is also good... the pub is getting better and better :)
With good, more nowadays hits music! :)
The pub usually comes up with an idea or a theme for the night: "End of the world party"(=CERN), "Russian night" (=yes, cheap vodka...), "UN party night"(=it was more a usual party...) etc.

- For more than just a beer... visit Shakers.

Actually, I like this place, even if the entrance costs 20 CHF... The entrance fee covers 1 drink (you should choose either Kamikaze or Sex in the sky cocktail...) but this club remained smoking free.... even if now the clubs can decide on their own whether smoking is allowed or not in thier venue...
However, last Saturday the DJ was crap... probably he was drunk too... don't know.. but terrible...

During weekdays they are throwing partys like: Erasmus/Student party, with student friendly prizes of course...

- Krazy party in Crystal

Hmm.. Julia's graduation party... on 2 October...

Sarah (she also graduated on that day), me, Julia, Sylvie, Zuzana in the HEI parc...(i lived in this parc... :P)

yes..then we went for dinner THAN definitely a great party...
free champagne for the girls before midnight... :)

Sylvie, me, Rachna, Julia, Ravaka, Kenza

Than the others went to Java.. but that was on a Thursday... hm Friday workday.. i am not that cool.. yet.. oh boy... ;)

- Sometimes on Fridays, there is Lady's night in Bypass.

That means whole night = free champagne... OR.. any cocktail or other drink for 1 CHF!!!
OH MY GOD!! 1 CHF!!!

Ok, the place is not really my taste.. neither the music..
but for 1 CHF a cocktail... ;) (ok, they didn't have gin nor vodka when we were there... so had to survive the night with "bakeszkokesz"... :D)

- This Saturday we tried MOA... but... there was such a huge queue... amazing...
And it is more out of Geneva... so even if the music is good, we didn't wait.. rather went to La SIP...
3 girls, normal clothes, nothing fancy, and still we got in.. :)
Yes, u should pretend as if u are always going there and getting in... ;)

And my favorite Monday-quote:

"Oh, boy... what a weekend again!" ;)

Aug 6 2008
Geneva as a station to everybody …

I am just thinking, thinking and thinking.
Can not sleep.
I cleaned already. Everything. I studied French. Listened to the Mozart musical again and again. (Yes, I am listening to the CD over and over...theater and musicals... I am really missing it from Geneva...

Apr 11 2008
Grown - up things :D
I can't believe it... on of my friend is going to get married... :)))

That's so exciting!!!

15 girls... i don't want to tell more about the plan.. but I am sure it is gonne be gorgeous!!!!

So, of course I will attend this party.. i can not miss it :)
So, I am leaving to Hungary for 5 weeks... ok... 4... 1 week . working form Budapest, than 1 week in Geneva.. with my parents, and my brother :)
I am excited about that too...
Hope they will like my new studio :)
With my fantastic brand new sofa :)

Than I go home... exams... well that's not gonna be so much fun, but I have to finsih university...
Seriously, this is my last chance, otherwise i will end up without adegree.. so yes, now i am a bit scared... But...I will survive!!! Hope so..

About the wedding:
I am gonne be a bridemate... :)
Isn't it great??? :)
Seriuosly, I am sooo excited :)

March 3 2008
A little bit of everything
Finally I got a small studio and I moved in.
So, I promise (ok, I hope) I won't write anymore about the accommodation/real estate situation in Geneva. That is boring.

Just to give you an idea about my place: It is small, 25 m2, however I have a bathroom with a BATH!!! So, now I can go to lush :)

On Saturday I was cleaning and packing and moving and all this stuff.

December 13 2007
What's going on here?

It is kind of funny that I will get all my information about my family from the newspaper...

:(

- My brother organized a huge Football cup in my city! :)
- My father was also in the newspaper.
- Maybe my cousin's husband will go to Austria... and work there! :)
- My aunt...don't even talk about him.

Nice.... I should go home and catch up with them...seems that I have lots to do...Shame on me...but on them too... :(

I've never realized how famous my family is...I am proud of them!!! :)

Living in the past...

I don't know what's going on with me...
On Thursday night I had a really great night with my best friends in Hungary... we were online-drinking ;)
I really missed them, and it was good to talk a little bit finally.

Than later I was surfing on youtube, and found several interesting videos..

For example this one:

I think the techique is amazing.
Ok, for my international readers... ;)
So, the guy is Pal Szecsi, who was a very very famous singer in Hungary in the 1960-70's.
He had an amazing voice. He had a very tragical childhood, and he tried to commit suicide several times later in his life, at the age of 30, he died...(also by suicide...)The 8th attempt was basicly "successfull".
With this song ("Just one dance...") he won in 1967 in a Hungarian Songfestival. Actually, he was always a "topic" in Hugary, he had really a loads of fun, obviuosly girls, women, who always wentr to his grave and brought him flowers, chochlates, etc. Also, women tried to commit suicide next to him...

The girl is a nowadays star singer... if I am right...

And the Hungarian TV channel did this technical trick...great!

I really like this song...

Fete de Geneve and a boat trip

The Fete de Geneve is over.
It is so strange, as it was 1 year ago, when Eszter and me went to Marseille, then we came back together to Geneva, and watched the fireworks together.

So, while I was watching the fireworks, I was thinking about the last 1 year...
So many things happened...
And on the other hand: so few things happened...
How did I spend this previous last year? If I have to sum up my last year, actually nothing really moved forward...

But, maybe later, I will see these months, these events in my life differently... ;)

On Friday we went out.
Ok, I wanted to go out... but at the end we didn't...
We were drinking and talking at RDL.
We played "I have never..." :)))
So, I got to know some friends a it more... ;)
Good game!

Than on Saturday we went for a boat trip to Versoix. :)
This time we took the car... not the bikes ;)

Our boat: Daniel, Ravaka, Eszter and me

The view...

The Spanish guys: Jose, David and Ravaka

Drink or drive???

I was driving the boat!!! Poor Daniel, he was really patient, explaining me the "physics of the waves..."..stilll... ;)
jajajajaja... it was sooo much fun!!! :)

Actuallly, the idea of renting a boat came from the will to watch the fireworks from a boat!!!
It would have been soo great... but.. imagine, for that day (I mean, the very last day of Fete de Geneve, for the fireworks day) all the boats are reserved till 2012!!! 4 years ahead!!! Crazy Geneva!!!
We could have reserved a boat for 2013... for a Rue De Lyon Reunion...! ;)

It was really great day... the sun was shining, the view was perfect, the waves were ok for my stomach ;)

After a 1,5 hour boating, we had to go back to Geneva for the fireworks... actually we had a "little" traffic jam, as everybody wanted to head to the city center... so, even though Versoix is 15 minutes maximum by car, for us the way back took more than 45 minutes... amazing...

But than we had a great place, from where we could see the fireworks:

The 1 hour long fireworks

During the fireworks I was analyzing my life, my 16 months in Switzerland, thinking about my future, my options, etc. And than, somehow my thoughts went forward to the noise of the fireworks. You know, when the rackets are going in the air, it is loud, and yes, it sounds like guns, or like real rackets...
I was thinking about Georgia and Russia.
I am here in Geneva, listening to that noise, and I am happy and satisfied. And than for somebody that noise doesn't mean the joy, happiness and beauty...
on the contrary...
It was a strange feeling.

Finnally...

So, finally I am back... I was not updating this blog due to several reasons...
first, nothing interesting really happened to me
second, i was than very very busy with my studies (ok, maybe I was rather in a deep selfpityness...)
third, lots of things happened, everything changed, and I didn't know where to start.

So, maybe.. at the beginning??? :)

Yes, I graduated!
I am an economist. - Whatever it is...
You guys can not imagine, how big relief it was for me... ugh...

And... actually, beside the relief I felt somehow disappointment too... (ok, here of course I am not talking about the aftergraduation party in Pest with Süti :)

I was disappointed maybe because I have been working for 1,5 years already, so I can see the real value of my degree... :(
It is really just a paper!

Because of my graduation, and all the exams, etc I stayed at home for more than 5 weeks!
It was amazing!!! I really missed my family ( btw, FAMILY stands for: Father And Mother I Love You) :))), my little brother, who is actually not that little anymore.
He is a real entrepreneur!!! :) and my grandfather of course!!! :)

Than I came back with Eszter, who is going to take over my position at HP.
She reminds me the way how I started everything.
I also had problems with the IT technology at HP, or looking for a flat in Geneva...

I had strange feelings, the transition started, she is going to take over my role, my job, I am going to leave HP.
I am going to miss the core team, specially one of my colleagues! When my boss announced, that I am leaving, she jabbered me, saying that she is going to miss me... :)
That really meant a lot!
She is really a great role model at working!

This weekend we went to Bern and Basel. I can't believe I visited Bern again... it is a really nice, charming little city... but still... and it was rainig again, so I still couldn't check the bears!!! Next time!!! sigh...

Than we went to Basel!!! It was OK, however the interesting thing was the blind restaurant.

The restaurant is called: Blindekuh - as in the restaurant there is as dark as a cow :)

The restaurant is managed by a foundation, that helps the blind people.

We can experience , how it could be living (ok, this case, eating) in totally dark, you are using your other senses.
It was definitely really interesting, however, expensive.
They could have offered more food, anyways.

The whole restaurant was in an old store house, there was completely, completely dark. Ok, when we first entered into the building, there was light at the reception. (and of course the chef is not blind, and in the kitchen and in the toilette there are lights...) So, we had to check the "carte" at the reception, we had to choose there what to order. Than the receptionist called our waiter, she was blind. We had to grab each others shoulder, and she led us to our table.
Everything was completely DARK!!! :)

I don't know, if you have seen one of the episodes from the CSI TV shows... well, there was a crime committed in a restaurant like this... FUNNY :)))

Ok, tomorrow, we are going to have Hungarian plate at the cafeteria!!!
That's why it is important to be friendly with the CHEF, and other kitchen crew members!!! :)))
At HP, we usually have food from all over the world... but we never had a hungarian one, so I always asked from him, when he can prepare sth.
He was asking for recipes... so I gave him a book :)))

I am really curious about the food tomorrow!!! :)

Good night,
bisous

Exam period

It is so typical... I have 2 papers to submit, 4 exams to take, several articals to translate, and still..what am I doing?
- chatting with almost everybody (the neighbors I do not even know, the postman... - i told him really embarrassing secrets too... just to gain some time...)
- comparing my friends on facebook
- watching TV shows--- really silly ones too
- going to swimming
- visiting my city as if I were a tourist --- ok, not in exam period, but I think it is a great activity: you are a tourist in your hometown! Take the photocamera with you, walk next to the river, besides the castle, visiting the cathedral and churches, maybe even a museum!
- and yes, updating my blog :)

I am actually doing everything but studying...

It feels like: I came back, everybody has changed, moved forward, but me, I am still standing in the same point from where I started.
It hurts.

3 weeks silence

Nowadays i am quite busy, that's why no news from my side.

But here i am, again, after 3 weeks.

That's so strange, when i finally start feeling that yes, i am on the right path of my life (in connection with all 3 "legs" : family/friends, work/carreer/university, love) than sth happens and everything collapse.

But so far, so good:
With work, everything is fine, finally i can travel: Barcelona, Grenoble, and again to Grenoble. :)
I got my contract and also my WORKPERMIT, which is a great news, i can stay in geneva for longer.
However, i feel sometimes a little bit left out form some important meetings or happenings within my organization, and that's not the best.
That is also strange, that it seems that my bosses are counting on me only till August. Well, it could be however a good news too.... I have more time to look for a job! ;)
And here you go, I said it..moreover, I wrote it down... look for a job, updating CV, uploading CV everywhere, going to interviews, etc. I found actually a CV-buddy already ;)
But, first step: find a great CV photo.... well... we all know, the first step is always the hardest :D

University:
That was/is the tricky one. I got a call from my university, saying: "Where are you? Are you finishing your studies or what? Cause it seems that you are not registered in our system..."
aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

So, yes, that's so meee..... I let everything on the very lst minute...than have to freak out, than calm down, get together myself, and start thinking, organizing, and usually win.
Well... i think i am somewhere getting together myself... long way to go though... but not unmanageble!!!! hope so :)
- 2 paper/thesis to write
- 5 exams (3 difficult one, 2 so-so)
- several translations, presentations
- till May 14 :)

Family/friends:
I am having lots of fun with the RDL guys, for example we went skiing - but it deserves its own post -, we went to dinners - i ate mexican food, indian food, etc. , and we went to CERN too.... but again - other post. And of course lots of lots of great parties - SIP ;), MAD, RDL, or our own private Shakers party :) Oh, and I was in Zurich too... :)

My family will visit me, and I am sooo much looking forward to that!!!! :D

During Eastern, a good old friend visited me with her flatmates. She is DITTKE (yes, yes, from Szeged, we were LCPs in the same term...) from Bonn, and her flatmates.
They managed to prove that my "studio", which is 25 m2, is big enough for 5-6 ppl :)
And be aware, i am going to Bonn soon... :D But just because we couldn't gossip enough!!! ;)

1 month

Sorry, sorry, sorry... :)

I have this Google Analytics, and with this I can track who is checking, from where, which city, country my blog.
I can even check whether he/she gets from a refering site or directly to my blog. :)
It is so interesting.
Anyway, I just wanted to let you know that I know that there were people in Hungary, Switzerland, Germany, France (ok, that could be Geneva...) Spain, US, and Egypt(?)... who checked my blog recently, and realized that there is no entry for more than 1 month.
Sorry for that. :)

But here I am..back... with all my energy, optimisitc (or miserable) view...

Actually, lots of thigns happened during this 1 month.
- I was back in Hungary
- Then I spent 1 wonderful week in Austria with my friends skiing...
- Then I moved again...but this time into my own studio!!! YEAh!!!
- I got my contract signed till Ocotber.
- I started studying German.
- Peter left HP, I got Csizi, (what a coincidence, he is also from the same university...)
- Anthony went back to Ireland - I missed THE party, however I had "The Last Supper" with him. Anthony cooked!!! :)
Amazing! :)
- I was partying, drinking, chatting, going out in restaurants, pubs, (yeah, we had a vodka -night too)
Ok maybe I should have just written: usual things... :D
- At work: I realized lots of lots of things, I learned a lot, and I think I got back some of my motivation that I thought I already losted.

Anyways, february was fast, we are already in the middle of March... and yes, as it is said in my LinkedIn profile, I am here already since 11 months!!!

Now, I have to run to catch my bus with my new collegue...
So, I promise, I will write a more personal entry next time :P

Just a short one

Hello,

I am so sorry, I was not here... however, life is good, life is fun.
Actually, my life is quite the same every day, every week.
We are going to ski every Saturday: with the university for 60 CHF (for externals), 50 CHF for students you can go to France skiing. The price contains: 1 day ski pass, course and of course the transportation. So, really cool price.

I think I am getting better and better, but of course still on blue slopes. :) It's good for me.
Specially when I don't know how to turn (and stop), everybody else is waiting for me on the left side... I am just flying next to the others, straight ahead, down till the town. It was awsome... (ok, crazy) Anyways, I survived and - what more important is - the others survived too... :)
I am wondering how I will survive Austria :)

Besides that I am taking German courses (online...), and still or again looking for an apartment, nothing special.

Now everything depends on the bureaucracy, if the office cantonale de population recognizes that Hungary is part of the EU, than I can stay, if not, than, I have to leave in May.
ááááááááááá

Last week I was 3 times in the gym, and today I go again.

This weekend was great, we went out on Friday... (hilarious story... not for the world wide...however, fantastic... we planned a girls night, than Daniel joined...) He is the new swedish intern, so now at least we have a story with him, so he is more involved in our "community" :)
hehehe

Than yesterday again. :)
However, it was a short one, maybe I am getting older? :)

Or, rather what Anthony said: we are about to grow up... that's why most of the time we have dinners together, or eating together (having brunch) instead of going out, clubbing, dancing, drinking.

We had a great "house warming" party, eating rice (esides lot of other things) with special somalian sauce.. ohh.. that was HOT... :)

Watched Pick up artist...

Now, after 2 parties, I am going to let the poison out of my body and out of my soul. :)
I will go to yoga, than to the sauna and jakuzzi. :)

Bright side of life...

Sometimes it is really hard to look on the bright side of life...

But at least I am trying.

Yesterday my bag was stolen. f.u.c.k.

It was in my favorite restaurant (ok, I just love that kind of food in the ERitarian restaurant, where you have to eat with your hands...) In Geneva you have 3 of a kind... So we were in one of those.
I was sitting on the second chair... (so not even on the first, the closest to the door...)

When I put my bag to the chair, I thought it won't be a great idea.
I knew, I felt it.

Anyways, shit happens.

In my bag, there was my life...
-my walett with money
-my workpermit, bankcards, monthly ticket, even my Holmes Place membership card, my student cards, everything

The owner saw sth or at least he was suspicious, but too late.
Dorys (the new intern from France) and Ahmed ran after the guy... :)))

So, I hope this black/communist/serbian will give me back my identity cards. :)))

That could happen again only to me.
Today I called the Embassy about my passport, and they were really very helpful and nice.
The woman was really surprised that I would like to travel to 3 countries within 3 weeks.
She said, nobody ever wanted to apply 2 kinds of temporary passport.
Well, here I am.

But I have to tell that Carissa and Chiara were great, Ravaka was really really helpful, Ahmed & DL was fantastic, Emi & Ikran funny (to cheer me up), so...

Thank you guys!!! :)))

I was really overwhelmed with all the hugs, support I got from everybody!!! :)))

And yesterday Heath Ledger died as well.
Post- Oscar for him!!!

The optimistic approach:
- I could change my photo on my HP Badge
(nope>> today I already got a new badge, with the same photo on it... blo...)
- I can get a brand new student card >> lots of space for my stamps... ;)
- I have to go to Bern >> finally I can see the (big, hairy) BEARS :)

And anyways, nothing can ruin my happiness... I just have to watch some photos from last weekend (or some videos...) and all my energy, optimism, happiness is coming back...

So, I have to find the "bideo" to upload it here.... ;)

New Year, new life :)

Long time, I know... :)
However, it was a fantastic 2007 and the start of 2008 is not that bad at all. :)

I won't write about the best moments of 2007, no reflections, just simply a summary, 2007 was a great year, full with challenges, great old friends and new ones. So I am happy.

And for this year, I have my priorities.
- find a great flat/studio/room from February (i know...it is boring...
- go to the gym twice a week
- study german (so, maybe after some weeks, I will post in German Das ist aber fantastisch!!!
- decide about my future... :D This is the best. My contract will end in May, so I have to choose from some opportunities. Now at least I have some... :D I am sure, I won't be spontaneous!!! hihihi

Xmas was great with my family, with my friends...
My mother cooked a lot, so I was just eating, and eating... :)))

Than I was in Pécs, visiting my friends, we went to Villány to wine tasting. This is a great region in Hungary..you should definitely try the red wines there...

Some photos from my time in Hungary:
